Pillar 02 — Software & Blockchain Dev

On-chain products people can actually use.

The contract is the easy half. Making an on-chain product legible to someone who has never signed a transaction is the real work.

What this includes

Web3 Development

04Gas strategy, including sponsored and account-abstraction flows
How we work

Audit, structure, publish, track

01

Web3 Development — questions

Traditional web dev builds a frontend that talks to servers and databases you control. Web3 development adds a layer that talks to public blockchains and smart contracts instead — wallets for identity, on-chain state for data, and decentralized storage for files. The frontend, UX, and product thinking are still core to the job; we're just adding a trust layer neither client nor server fully owns.

We build most often on Ethereum and EVM-compatible chains (Polygon, Base, Arbitrum, Optimism), plus Solana for high-throughput use cases. Wallet support typically covers MetaMask, WalletConnect, Coinbase Wallet, and embedded/social-login wallets for non-crypto-native users. We'll recommend a stack based on your users, not the other way around.

Either works. If contracts already exist, we build the dApp and integrations against them. If not, that work sits under our separate Blockchain & Smart Contracts service — we regularly scope both together as one engagement so contract and frontend design happen in sync.

Users have to connect a wallet, approve transactions, pay gas, and wait for confirmations — steps with no Web2 equivalent. We design around these frictions directly: clear pre-transaction summaries, gas estimates up front, optimistic UI where safe, and fallbacks for users without a wallet yet.

Embedded and social-login wallets (email or Google sign-in that provision a wallet behind the scenes) let new users transact before they understand seed phrases. We layer in plain-language explainers and gas-sponsorship options so the first five minutes feel like any other app.

A focused dApp with wallet integration and a handful of on-chain interactions typically runs 6–10 weeks. Multi-chain products, DAO tooling, or anything layered on new smart contracts run longer — we'll give you a real range once we've scoped the chain work.

Cost tracks scope, not buzzwords — a wallet-gated content site is a fraction of a multi-chain DAO platform. We scope against your roadmap and give a fixed range before work starts, the same way we do for any build.

On-chain mistakes are hard to undo, so we build defensively: signature verification on every wallet action, transaction simulation before submission, and clear confirmation states so users never sign something they didn't intend to. Any contract-level work goes through third-party audit before mainnet.

Most user losses in Web3 come from social engineering, not code bugs. We design transaction prompts that clearly state what's being signed and why, avoid blanket approval requests, and add domain-verification cues so users can tell your dApp from a lookalike.

We keep heavy compute and data off-chain wherever possible — indexing services, caching layers, and CDN-backed decentralized storage — so only what truly needs on-chain trust touches the chain. That keeps load times and gas costs down as your user base grows.

Yes — chain selection is part of our Discover phase. We weigh transaction cost, finality speed, ecosystem tooling, and where your target users already hold wallets, rather than defaulting to whichever chain is trending.

Blockchain & Smart Contracts covers the on-chain layer itself — contract design, development, and audit. Web3 Development is the product layer built on top of it: the dApp, wallet flows, and frontend your users actually touch. Most companies need both, and we scope them as one coordinated engagement.

We build the product, not just the protocol integration — our Web3 engineers work alongside product and marketing from kickoff, so the dApp you ship is designed to onboard real users and prove traction, not just demonstrate that a wallet connects.

Start a Project below and tell us about your product and chain plans. We'll set up a scoping call, map the wallet and chain stack that fits your users, and come back with a locked scope and timeline.
