Pillar 02 — Software & Blockchain Dev

Design that gets built the way it was drawn.

Design and engineering sit on the same team here, so the handoff is a conversation rather than a specification thrown over a wall.

What this includes

UI/UX Design

01User research, journey mapping and usability testing
02Interface design across web, mobile and internal tooling
03Design system with tokens and documented components
04WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility built in rather than retrofitted
How we work

Audit, structure, publish, track

01
Audit
We map the product, the stack and the constraints before a line is written.
02
Structure
Architecture, scope and a release plan you can hold us to.
03
Publish
Shipped in two-week increments, demoed against real usage.
04
Track
Instrumentation, uptime and iteration once it is live.

UI/UX Design — questions

We move through research, wireframing, UI design, and prototyping in four stages, with a usability check before each handoff. You see working screens every week, not a single reveal at the end.

Wireframes are low-fidelity sketches that lock layout and flow logic. Mockups are full-color, pixel-accurate screens. Prototypes link those screens together so you can click through the product before any code exists.

A focused MVP flow (5–10 screens) typically runs 3–4 weeks. A full product design system with 20+ screens and usability testing runs 6–8 weeks. We scope the exact timeline after the discovery call.

We present two directional concepts for key screens early on so you can pick a visual language before we design the full product. From there, revisions are scoped into the engagement rather than capped at an arbitrary number.

Yes. A lead designer is assigned to your project for its full duration, backed by a researcher and a second designer for review. You always know who owns the work.

A clear product brief, any existing brand assets, and access to users or stakeholders for research interviews if available. If you don't have a brand yet, we can scope that as a first step.

Cost depends on screen count, research scope, and whether you need a full design system built from scratch. We give a fixed quote after scoping on the discovery call, not an open-ended hourly estimate.

We run moderated usability sessions on key flows before final handoff, using real or recruited users. Findings get folded into a revision pass, so friction gets caught before your engineers build it.

You get a Figma file in dev mode with inspectable specs, a documented component library, and an annotated spec sheet covering states and edge cases. We stay available through the first sprint of implementation to answer questions.

Yes, and we design them together rather than as separate efforts, so the design system and interaction patterns stay consistent across platforms from the start.

Both. Motion 8's software and blockchain dev team can take the design straight into build, or we hand a dev-ready package to your in-house engineers — whichever fits your team.

Startups pivot — we build scope reviews into the process so changes get re-scoped transparently instead of derailing the timeline or getting silently absorbed.

You do. Every Figma file, component library, and asset we produce transfers to your team on final payment, with no licensing restrictions on future use.

We design and build under one roof, so your interfaces are shaped by people who know what's buildable, not just what looks good in Figma. That means fewer surprises when engineering picks up the file.

Book a discovery call, share your product brief, and we'll come back with a scoped timeline and fixed quote within 24 hours — no obligation to proceed.
